this will be a short post as we have yet to master touch typing on the tunisian keyboard, in which about 50% of the letters are in the wrong place.

so we arrived in tunis this morning and have already found a very cheap yarn store. we spent yesterday in the village of horley, near gatwick, where we had a giant sausage yorkie pudding and fish and chips. we also bought some gooseberry fool and lamb-and-mint-flavored potato chips. but mostly we've just been sleeping off the jet lag. we're about to take a peek into the medina before having our first tunisian dinner.

this will be our blog about our trip to tunisia and other parts. but nothing's happening yet other than crazed last-minute preparations. the journey gets underway on april 27. check back after that to see what we're up to.
